How to search the Library catalogue

The UniSA Library catalogue has some
great features that saves time and makes searching easier. I’m going to start with
a simple search. The library suggests some relevant databases that I might
want to search after I’ve looked at the catalogue. There are also suggested Library
Guides which may provide some ideas to improve my search. My results list books,
articles, videos, and even a definition, it’s not really what I want. So I can use
tweak my results to tweak my results This time, I want to limit my search to
peer-reviewed articles I can also choose a date range, and this is hand if I want
to focus on recent research. An advanced search lets me build a more
sophisticated search including an exact phrase search or a search within a title
or even a search for a specific author. But to really get the most out of this
catalogue, I need to sign in here. Then I can pin records which saves them
to my favorites, and lets me come back to them later. I can also save a search and
request an email notification when a new item that matches my search is added to
the catalogue. If I want to email the article to myself, I can select the
envelope icon. My favorite feature is to click on the cite button, and the catalogue
will put the reference into the referencing style of my choice including
UniSA Harvard style, but it’s not perfect, so I still need to check the referencing
guide. Let the UniSA Library catalogue make such an easier for you.
