Returning Books to the Margaret Wilson Library

Returning Books to the Margaret Wilson Library

Kate: Hi.
My name is Kate and I’m the
Bilingual Library Associate here at
the Margaret Wilson Library. Today, I’m going to be showing
you how to return your books using our reusable envelopes. Your package should
contain your book, a return mailing slip
and a date-due bookmark. Keep the return mailing slip for when you want
to return your book. Because postage is paid
by envelope size and weight, make sure you return your
book in the same envelope in which it had arrived. A handy tip is to write
the title of the book on the inside flap
of the envelope. When you’re ready to send
your book back to the library, make sure you have your
return mailing label on hand. The return mailing label
will have the address for the Ontario
College of Teachers already printed on it. Place your book in the envelope and seal it by pulling
on the adhesive strip. Press down firmly
to seal the envelope. Next, stick your
return mailing label over the original label
on the front of the envelope. Now, you’re ready
to return your book to any Canada Post location. If you ordered a large,
heavy or bulky item, it’s probably delivered
in a bubble mailer instead of the reusable
cardboard envelope. You can still reuse
the bubble mailers by stapling or taping
them closed. If you have any questions about
returning library materials, contact us at 416-961-8800, extension 679, or by email at [email protected] You can also access our
e-book collection online, and library staff are
always happy to help with research questions
and recommendations.
